- 1). Reach character level 50 on "Too Human." Since the strength of random drops varies by the level of the character, being level 50 allows for the highest possible drops.
- 2). Create "loot armor." This is specific armor to be worn while trying to get drops. Ideally loot armor is high level, orange armor loaded with runes that increase the percentage of dropped loot. This armor provides a 15 percent increase in the chance for enemies, including bosses, to drop double the amount of loot. Wear this armor set whenever making loot runs.
- 3). Create a multi-player game with one private. Leave the slot empty and begin the game. Unless you have a friend willing to offer up any Epic Champion pieces which drop, it's best t play alone when epic hunting.
- 4). Obtain a random loot drop during gameplay. Since drops are random it's impossible to predict when or where a piece of Epic Champion armor may be obtained, however, there are a few places with a high chance of epic or at least decent drop.
- 5). Do a level three to four belt run. Run on the conveyer belt continuously to grind out a few drops. Generally this is good for epic drops, especially for Epic Runes for use in Epic or Aesir armor pieces.
- 6). Make spider runs on level three to four. These are done just before reaching the conveyor belt on the same stage. Kill the two trolls and one spider in the room preceding the belt. Slowly walk to the door and stop just as it opens. Use a good ranged weapon to kill the spider in the other room and wait one minute for the loot to reach you. Respawn the spider by running to the well and repeat the process as many times as you want.
- 7). Complete the Hall of Heroes. Collect as many tokens as possible to increase epic drop chances. Skip the secret areas to save time. The final boss typically drops good items, which may include Epic Champion armor pieces.
