Nikolai is the love of my life. He is a 3 year old American Short Hair Tuxedo Cat. I rescued him at 3 weeks and spent many weeks bonding with bottle feeding time and other teaching activities. He is probably the most lovable cat that I have ever had and loves to curl up on my lap on lazy Sunday afternoons while I watch movies on the couch. This picture was taken a couple Christmas's ago and is probably my favorite picture of him.

I had taken him to my parents to celebrate the holiday and he was very curious about the whole unwrapping phenomenon. He found the only sunny spot in the room and the picture was snapped.
