How to Remove Tracks on a Bobcat T190
- 1). Move the track steer under the hydraulic lift. Lift the track steer off the ground. Neither track should be touching the ground.
- 2). Unthread the bolts on the tensioner's face plate with the ratchet set. Expose the grease hole for the tensioner by removing the grease zerk. Push the check ball inside the grease hole into the interior of the tensioner reservoir with the 1/4-inch screwdriver. Grease will begin flowing out of the hole.
- 3). Place the breaking bar between the track and the tensioner sprocket and force the sprocket down by leveraging against the track. This will force more grease out of the tensioner reservoir.
- 4). Lift the track off the tensioner sprocket and drive sprocket to remove the track.
