Procedure

• 1). Wash the coffeepot either in the dishwasher or by hand with hot, soapy water.
  
  
• 2). Pour the vinegar into the pot and swirl around. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes.
  
  
• 3). Rinse with hot water. Do not dry.
  
  
• 4). Pour the baking soda into the wet coffeepot.
  
  
• 5). Use a damp cloth or a wet nylon scrub pad and scrub the baking soda all around the inside of the coffeepot until clean and shiny.
  
  
• 6). Rinse well.
