    • 1). In your favorite word processor, create a text box. Position the text box at the top center of the page. Type your company name. Make sure to use a font that makes it easy to read.

    • 2). Type your slogan or motto underneath your business name in the text box. Try to use a slogan that will connect with your potential customer. Center the slogan in a smaller size of the same font underneath your company name.

    • 3). Create another text box in the center of the page. Use a smaller font, but no smaller than 12 point, to list at least three things your business does. The number of services you list is important: fewer than three services makes you look too small, but more than six makes you look unfocused. If what your business does can't be explained in bullet points write three brief sentences that describe your product or service. Be brief, but make sure they are good sentences.

    • 4). Create one more text box to go in the bottom third of the page. This box will tell your potential customers how to reach you. Use a larger font, but not as big as your company name, and type your telephone number, web address, or however else it is you want your customers to find you. As this is the box the customer is going to use, you might use the format text box options to put a border around the box. A border will catch your customer's eye and help him remember you.
