Downtown Long Beach is a popular nightlife center with most restaurants, bars, clubs and live music venues located along Pine Avenue from 4th Street to the Pike and Shoreline Village. Venues close and move frequently, so check with the venue to make sure they're still open and at the same location.

Dress codes apply at most places and at some clubs men are routinely patted down.
