"South Park" DVDs

106 2
A list of fantastic South Park episodes on DVD, which offer sweet extras as well. These episodes were chosen for their high laugh factor and their classic South Park plots.

1. South Park: The Hits

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone picked the best ten South Park episodes  for this DVD, which celebrated the show's 10 year anniversary. Not only do you get episodes like "Towelie" and "Trapped in the Closet," but also the animated short "The Spirit of Christmas," which inspired the TV series. Released: 2006.More »

2. The Cult of Cartman

Whether you belong to Order of the Solar Temple or Heaven's Gate, everyone is welcome in the Cult of Cartman. This South Park DVD anthology includes episodes centered on the teachings of Eric Cartman, such as "Scott Tenorman Must Die" and "Le Petit Tourette." Released: 2008.More »

3. Insults to Injuries

This collection of four episodes features the funniest episodes from the middle seasons. At the top of the sick-o-meter is "Cripple Fight," following quickly by "Proper Condom Use." For sheer Cartman evil, you get "Scott Tenorman Must Die." And finally, see the one that breaks the rules, "It Hits the Fan." Bonus material would be nice to have, but historically that is lacking on South Park DVDs. Released: 2001.More »

4. Christmas Time in South Park

Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo and Charlie Manson are guest stars in these holiday episodes. Includes more recent Christmas episodes, such as "Woodland Critter Christmas" and "Red Sleigh Down." Released: 2007.More »

5. The Passion of the Jew

This episode of South Park has been hailed by critics and fans alike. "The Passion of the Jew" parodies the success of Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ. In fact, Matt Stone and Trey Parker were rather prophetic in depicting Mel Gibson as crazy even before his well-publicized drunken rants. Released: 2004.More »

6. A Little Box of Butters

This collectible box includes 13 widescreen Butters-centric episodes, such as "Professor Chaos" and "Cartman Sucks," and an exclusive "It's Butters! A Trivia Game" where fans can test their Butters knowledge with friends. It is also filled with treasures from Butters' past as well as a reminder of his misadventures. Released: 2010.More »

7. Ghouls, Ghosts and Underpants Gnomes

This South Park DVD kicks it old school with early seasons. The "Underpants Gnomes" South Park episode is one of my favorites because of, well, the underpants gnomes! Their high-pitched singing gets me every time. I also love "Trapper Keeper" because of the nostalgia of Trapper Keepers (yes, I had one) and because the show make fun of Dawson's Creek. You also get two Halloween specials. Released: 2002.More »

8. Imaginationland Trilogy

The "Imaginationland" Trilogy not only won seriously high ratings for Comedy Central, but also grabbed an Emmy award. The three episodes tell two intertwining stories. The first story involves a bet Cartman makes with Kyle and making good on said bet. The other story involves Al Gore, nuclear weapons and a large cast of fictional characters. Released: 2008.More »

9. The Chef Experience

Chef had a colorful history on South Park. These episodes are from early seasons when Chef and his counterpart, Isaac Hayes, still held favor with Matt Stone and Trey Parker. "The Chef Experience" contains three great episodes, "Chef Aid," "Chef Aid: Behind the Menu" and "Succubus." As a bonus, the DVD includes the episode "Rainforest Schmainforest" and the music video for "Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls." Released: 1999.More »
