This current economic recession has hit this nation hard.
There is always a threat for people like you and I.
We all deal with the cost of everything going up like our utilities, groceries, gas for our vehicles, drowning in credit card debt, mortgage or rent payments, clothing just to mention a few, and to top it off we also take on the risk of maybe one day losing our jobs causing us to head on over to the Unemployment office which is something none of us even want to think of taking on at a time like this.
With business closing almost every day, more and more people become unemployed.
More people are standing in the unemployment line each and every day.
It adds stress in the life's of our entire family.
Should we Worry? You should not worry about something you have no control over.
No absolutely not! Worrying can affect your health in several ways.
When a person is in a state of chronic worry the blood pressure can be elevated.
Worrying can cause you to have difficulty sleeping and may suffer from insomnia.
Worrying will affects your appetite which will cause you to binge eat on fast foods and processed snacks which may result in high cholesterol levels.
The Bible teaches us that, there is nothing wrong with realistically acknowledging and trying to deal with the identifiable problems in our life's.
To ignore our problems is fooling and wrong.
But it is also wrong, as well as unhealthy, to be immobilized by excessive worry.
Worrying must be committed to prayer to the Lord, who can release us from fear or anxiety, and free us to deal with the needs and welfare both of others and of ourselves.
