When Misfit died, I really thought Michelob was going to die soon after. It was obvious how much he was hurting seeing misfit die and then not being there any more. He has his own health issues and it wasn't looking good. For some reason my gut told me to get 2 new kittens quickly even though my heart was crushed. I got the kittens and they brought him a cold, not just a cold but a major respiratory infection and he couldn't smell his food or breath through his nose so he wasn't eating and it was really bad, lasted a full month!

He pulled through and just ignored the babies. Wasn't mean, just ignored them completely and continued to mourn. The vet didn't know if he ever was going to come out of it.

After 5 months they finally started to snuggle up together. Ive had a couple psychics come out and tell me that he was gonna die soon. I stopped cramming supplements down his throat and giving him fish oil and fluids that a homeopathic vet had me doing. He's now doing awesome! It's been a year and a half now and he's 17+ and he even initiates playing with them and starts to run and jump chasing them around! Its very funny to watch!
