How to Clean Mop Refills
- 1). Measure ¼ cup of bleach and 1 gallon of water into a bucket large enough to fit the mop's head.
- 2). Submerge the mop head into the bucket. You do not need to remove the mop head from the mop's pole.
- 3). Allow the mop head to soak for 15 to 20 minutes in the bleach mixture to kill bacteria.
- 4). Remove the mop head from the mixture and place the mop head into your sink.
- 5). Turn your faucet on and allow water to run over your mop head until the water runs clear.
- 6). Allow the mop head to air dry.
