    • 1). Speak with the manager of the radio station. The radio station manager is listed on a radio station's website, or can be reached by calling the radio station directly. Explain to the manager the nature of the complaint. Let the manager know what action would be preferable on the issue.

Ask to speak with a manager, director, or even the president of the company, if it is possible to get through to him/her. Relay the information about the lack of satisfaction regarding their radio advertising. Request a timely response as to their next steps, and ask that they keep you informed..

    • 3). Send an email or letter via regular mail to any of the contacts if a phone call isn't possible.

    • 4). File a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regarding the radio advertising. Complete Form 2000A. Send in the form via email, fax, or regular mail to the FCC address. FCC employees are also available by phone to help in filing a 2000A complaint.
