Anything else is questionable whether it's gifting, surveys, or a whole host of other things I could name.
What are you passionate about? If you have a hobby, or some type of business expertise, these are great things to build a business around, and you will be doing something you like. Just choose one thing though.

What about your marketing plan? This is crucial to your success. Write it down. Use a personal information manager to organize these into projects and then write down the steps that need to be done. Choose one project at a time to complete, and then use the steps to complete it a little each day.
Writing down six things you want to accomplish each day is also effective. It helps you prioritize the most important things you need to get done each day.

Turn off the phone if you have to, as well as your browser and anything else on your computer that could cause you a distraction.
