How to Hole Punch a Pumpkin
- 1). Saw out a circle around the pumpkin stem and remove it from the pumpkin. The hole should be large enough that your hand can fit inside it.
- 2). Remove the pulp and seeds using the plastic scraper.
- 3). Scrape the inner walls of the pumpkin until they are 1/4-inch thick.
- 4). Position the sharp end of the hole cutter on the pumpkin's outside surface, steadying the pumpkin firmly with your free hand.
- 5). Firmly push the hole cutter through the pumpkin flesh, withdrawing it once it has pierced the pumpkin.
