Norton LiveUpdate

• 1). Click "Start" and "All Programs."
  
  
• 2). Click on "Symantic" and "Norton 360" to open your Norton 360 4.0 dashboard.
  
  
• 3). Click "Run LiveUpdate." Wait while your Norton software searches for updated definitions and software patches.
  
  
• 4). Click "Install" to apply any updates. Following the installation, a prompt will tell you that the software is up to date. If your prompt tells you that the update failed, you can still update manually.
  
  

Manual Update Download

• 1). Visit Symantec's website, click on the "Business" tab and click on "Virus Definitions and Security Updates" under "Security Response."
  
  
• 2). Click on "Norton AntiVirus for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7."
  
  
• 3). Download the most recent security update for use with Norton 360 4.0. The update downloads to your desktop as an executable file.
  
  
• 4). Double-click on the update file.
  
  
• 5). Click "Next" through the on-screen prompts to finish installing the update.
