Haiden fans are in for a major treat this week, as Days of Our Lives Hope and Aiden share their first kiss.

The pair, who have been dancing around their growing attraction for each other for months, finally take the next step. It happens while they're out taking a walk one night and is instigated by Aiden, who leans in for the smooch.

The latest issue of Soap Opera Digest has a story on the romantic moment with quotes from Kristian Alfonso (Hope) about what transpires.

The actress notes that Hope totally doesn't see the kiss coming and is majorly surprised by it.

So what happens next? Apparently, it's a turning point for Hope and Aiden; a change in the dynamic between the twosome.

While Aiden is a widower and free to move on, Hope is a married woman with commitments and obligations. Her heart has always belonged to one man, Bo, and for the first time in her life she's faced with having feelings for another one. Hence, she's bound to be confused and, of course, torn.

Will she deny those feelings and run away from them? Or will she face them head on? If it's the latter, Hope will have to give serious thought to ending her marriage to Bo. Because as Alfonso has said many times, Hope is not a cheater.
