- 2). Click "All Programs."
- 3). Click "Windows Media Player."
- 4). Click "Tools" followed by the "Options..." menu listing.
- 5). Click the "Burn" tab. In the "Burn Speed" drop-down menu, select "Slow." Click "Apply." Your Optiarc AD-7200S burner will now burn at speeds of less than 8x when you burn discs using Windows Media Player. If you use another program to burn discs, you will have to manually adjust the burn speed in those programs before a burning can take place using your ideal settings.
