Bengaluru Police have been arrested two people on the case of alleged sexual assault over Premalata Shastri, based on a complaint against Shri Raghaveshwara Bharati of Hosanagara Math, which it was taking different turns day by day. According to sources the followers of the Swamiji are trying to use different ways to demoralize their family, where Anshumati Shastri, the elder daughter of Divakar and Premalata, who had lodged a complaint of sexual assault by the Swamiji on her mother.
Bengaluru Police insists that the case was filed on the basis of her complaint over Premalata Shastri was sexually assault by the Shri Raghaveshwara Bharati, where she was threatened by two people putting pressure her into withdrawing the case. Arrested people have been warned Anshumati Shastri via social networking sites Facebook, WhatsApp and other social networking sites, where the verification complaint has been going through.
After the common man, it is the Bharatiya Janata Party workers who have taken to the streets in Bangalore protesting the alleged sexual assault on a six-year-old girl in a reputed school.
While the protests were on, a meeting between the school management and the parents were on regarding the re-opening of the school which was shut down after the gruesome incident.
The two of Cambridge School were arrested under IPC sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), additional commissioner of police Alok Kumar told PTI here.
The police arrested Jaishankar, 38, a Hindi teacher, on Thursday night on the charge of sexually abusing the Class I student after the victim's mother lodged a complaint with the Jeevan Bima Nagar police.
A parent said that there was heated debate between school management, police and the elected representatives. "We have left our work to come and initiate a dialogue. But elected representatives and management are having a tussle. Nobody wants to listen to our concerns. Why were we called?," the parent said.
Anshumati Shasthri has lodged a complaint against these miscreants in the Banashankari police station on October 18, She insists that they have uploaded her photos clicked at functions and parties during her college days without her permission and without bringing to her notice. Police are likely to produce them in the court and it was remanded them to 15 days' judicial custody.
