Refill Instructions for HP Cartridges 21 & 22
- 1). Remove the label on the cartridge.
- 2). Locate the hole that is underneath the label. This is the hole where you will inject your black ink with the syringe.
- 3). Fill your syringe with 5 ml of black ink. Do not use more ink because the cartridge can only displace so much ink at a time.
- 4). Deposit the black ink into the hole in your cartridge with the syringe.
- 5). Replace the label. If you can't replace the label, the cartridge will still print without it.
- 1). Remove the label on the cartridge.
- 2). Locate the holes underneath the label. There are five holes. There is one hole that sits alone at the top of the cartridge, and two columns with two holes underneath them. Each color ink must be deposited into a specific hole.
- 3). Fill each of your three syringes with 5 ml of each color. Do not fill the same syringe with more than one color.
- 4). Deposit your syringe filled with the magenta ink into the very top, center hole. Deposit the yellow ink syringe into the top left hole. Deposit the cyan syringe into the top right hole.
- 5). Replace the label over the holes.
