- 1). Connect to the Internet, open your Web browser and navigate to your email account.
- 2). Compose an email to Apple's legal department detailing the software piracy act. Include the name, address, telephone number and website of the company or individual, the name of the software, how many people you know are using the software illegally and why you believe the software is pirated.
- 3). Send the email to piracy@apple.com.
- 4). Navigate to Business Software Alliance's Report Piracy page (see Resources).
- 5). Complete the questionnaire about the software piracy you are reporting. Provide the necessary information such as the type of piracy, the name of the company or individual committing the act, the name of the software and the reasons you believe the software has been pirated.
- 6). Click "Submit Now."
