Works on multiples of 6 stitches plus 2.

Row 1 (wrong side): Knit 2, *purl 4, knit 2. Repeat from * across.

Row 2: Purl 2, *knit 2 together, yarn over twice, slip 1, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over, purl 2. Repeat from * across.

Row 3: Knit 2, *purl 1, purl into the front of the first yarn over, purl into the back of the second yarn over, purl 1, knit 2. Repeat from * across.

Row 4: Purl 2, *yarn over, slip 1, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over, knit 2 together, yarn over, purl 2.

Repeat from * across.

Repeat these rows for pattern.

Note: Pattern must be blocked and stretched to show off the eyelets.
