104 2
    • 1). Run your dryer, empty of any clothing, for a few minutes to heat up the interior.

    • 2). Pour acetone-based nail polish remover on a clean cloth, and rub into the blue ink stains. Turn the cloth over, pour more nail polish on, if necessary, and continue to rub.

    • 3). Smear plain vegetable shortening onto the stain in the warm dryer. Rub it around to ensure you've covered the whole stain. Allow the shortening to sit on the stain for a few minutes.

Wipe up the shortening and blue ink stain using a paper towel. Use a new paper towel each time the previous one wipes up a lot of the ink stain so you're not just smearing the ink around. Continue to wipe until the blue ink stain is gone.

    • 5). Spray glass cleaner inside the dryer, and wipe up with paper towels to remove any residue from the nail polish remover and the greasy film left by the vegetable shortening. Repeat, if necessary, until all cleaning agents are removed.
