How to Sync GroupWise With Google
- 1). Log in to Gmail.
- 2). Click “Settings.”
- 3). Select the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab.
- 4). Click “Enable POP for all mail” and then click “Save.”
- 5). Launch GroupWise.
- 6). Select “Accounts,” then “Account Options.”
- 7). Click “Add.”
- 8). Select “POP3” and then click “Next.”
- 9). Enter the POP3 account information for Gmail as follows and then click “Next”:
Incoming mail server - pop.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server - smtp.gmail.com
E-mail address - [Your user name]@gmail.com
From name - [Your name] - 10
Select the folder in GroupWise you would like to use to store Gmail messages and then click “Next.” A summary of the account setup will be displayed. Click “Finish” to complete the setup. You will need to enter your Gmail password the first time you attempt to download messages from Gmail in GroupWise. - 1). Launch GroupWise.
- 2). Select the “Calendar” tab.
- 3). Right-click the calendar you would like to keep in sync with Google Calendar and select “Properties.”
- 4). Click the “Publish” tab.
- 5). Select “Publish this calendar” to enable GroupWise calendar publishing. The URL for the calendar will be displayed once publishing is enabled. Copy the URL and click “OK.”
- 6). Log in to Google Calendar.
- 7). Select “Add,” and then “Add by URL.”
- 8). Paste the GroupWise calendar URL into the input box and then click “Add Calendar.” This will keep your GroupWise calendar in sync with Google Calendar.
