Network Marketing Training - The Two Most Important Words In Your Downline

I have been deeply involved in the network marketing industry long enough, that I can quickly spot what an individual is doing wrong in their business and help them correct it.
And I was inspired to write this post after a series of recent coaching sessions that I did with several clients.
I find it very shocking that so many network marketers out there today are so lost considering all of the resources that are available out there.
I witness client after client come to me with the same struggle, "How do I increase the effectiveness of my downline?" I get this question often, and without hesitation I give the exact same answer every time without fail.
No matter what company it is, no matter what marketing techniques they are using, no matter how long they've been in the business, my answer is always the same.
To build an effective downline you need two words, culture and story.
If your downline is full of culture and stories, you will quickly rise to the top.
And a reason 90% of network marketers are struggling is because their downline is lacking culture and story.
Or maybe they don't even have a downline...
because they don't have what? Culture and Story.
And you should have started your culture and story within your first 7 days in the business.
Now if you are like me, you didn't get that luxury so guess what? You get to start over.
This is your one chance to push the restart button on your mindset and start your culture and story today! Why do you get that chance? Because you were ignorant to the fact that you need culture and story in your downline before today.
Now you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink.
So I'm giving you the resources to building an effective downline, now its up to you to take action! What Is Culture & Story? So now we know that we need culture and story in our downline, so what is it in terms of network marketing? When we're talking about culture, we are talking about the overall habits and the mindset of your organization.
So how do you build a solid culture? By creating stories for every single person that you sponsor.
Now the beauty of network marketing is the ability to create leverage, but if we have a downline that's just as confused as us then there is no work getting done.
Therefore we have to do all of the work to earn anything, which means we have no leverage! So if we want leverage, we need to focus on the quality of our downline and not so much the quantity.
I will take 10 smart and effective marketers, over 100 clueless reps any day of the week.
Because that 10 will eventually turn into 100 smart and effective marketers, which is far more powerful then 1000 network marketing dummies.
So to create a quality rep, you want to give him or her a story within their first 7 days.
You want them to earn money, sponsor another rep, acquire some customers, hit a promotion in the company, or achieve some type of results in their first week.
Why? Because it creates a story.
So when their friends, family, or spouse asks them how their new network marketing business is going they can tell them their story and be proud of what they did in their first week.
You simply cannot argue with results.
Is your spouse unsupportive of your new home based business? Well, what type of results do you have? I've never met a wife that was upset because her husband has a $10,000 residual check.
You can't argue results.
And it is your responsibility as their sponsor to help a new rep in your downline see results immediately.
We've all been to different network marketing opportunity meetings, we've seen the man or woman up front give the presentation and talk about how great the compensation plan is and how much they've made with the company.
But if you have invited any guests with you, what do they immediately do after the presentation? They ask how you are doing! (you know its true lol) "Forget what he's doing...
how are you doing? How much are you making? What level are you on?" We can't avoid those questions.
So if we don't have a story we are stuck in that situation.
But how powerful would it be for your newly acquired rep to be able to tell his friends, family, or even a prospect that they are trying to sponsor.
"Hey...
I hit my first promotion in a week.
" That's powerful! So from now on take the time to make sure every single one of your new distributors gets a story within their first week or sooner.
And if you don't have a story right now, work on yourself first and go get a story.
Because remember we pushed the restart button today, but you can only do that once because now you know.
So go out and create a story for yourself in the next 7 days so you can tell your next business partner in your downline that you hit a promotion in 1 week.
And as you build stories for your new reps and teach them how to do the same with everyone they sponsor...
you build a culture.
Because that mindset of creating results fast for new sign ups will continue down and down and your checks go up and up! There you have it, the 2 most important words in your downline.
Culture and Story.
Your Success Homework: Make sure that every single rep that you personally sponsored has a story, and teach them how to do the same for everyone they sponsor.
And if you do not have a story right now, create on in the next 7 days so that everyone that you sponsor after today can have one too.
