How is Paleo diet beneficial for women?

Ever since the world has been created women have played a major role in its advancement. They are born with their own qualities and have always contributed in the growth of their environment. Their significance can not be neglected either in the house or in the work- field. But many a times this daily running around starts taking a toll on their health. A lot of nutritionists plan various diet-charts and recommend to women who seek their advice. One such diet that is catching every one's fancy is the Paleo diet.

 

Paleo as we all know is another name for cavemen diet or an ancient way of eating. It propogates avoiding of all types of junk foods comprising of sugar and laced with extra un- required calories which is a mojor reason for all types of ailments.

 

For women in particular, some times out of sheer exhaution, a lot of unwanted food is consumed. If one resorts to paleo food then body can be saved from a lot of problems. Its benefits are as follows-    * With hectic schedule throughout the day it becomes difficult to take out time to exercise. Paleo foods work as weight loss substitute for most of the women.  

 

* Choosing different coloured vegetables for variety in nutrients and also helps in brighter and glowing skin and more energy for the entire day.

* Paleo diet which has good amount of olive oil, nuts and avacado is specially beneficial for a good heart, prevention from inflamation and mental health.  

* Along with a lot of meat, paleo diet also recommends one or two servings of wholegrains. They are very good  at cutting down on chronic diseases.  

* Women have a tendency to put on weight in middle-age. Paleo diet recommends eating lot of fibres, drinking water at regular intervals and avoiding salt. This works wonders on one's abdomen which is a major cause of worry for most women.

* The diet plan which has small servings of proteins- healthy fats-fruits and vegetables is recommended for all women in general.

* Taking of paleo diet doesnot stop or doesnot curtain on exercises. Regular walks and exercise will add more benefits to the diet plan and will give better results.

* Some paleo diets stress more on a high protein diet as it reduces the craving for sugars especially after meals, helps in reducing fat storage, improve appetite control and helps in maintaining lean muscles.

* Fruits and vegetables are of equal importance as they contain micro- nutrients which are a good source of blood sugar stabilizing fibre.

* Some women have an apprenphension towards all or full time paleo diet as it doesnot encourage dairy products. They feel that cutting down on milk and milk products effect the bones leading to aches and pains.

* Some women feel that more meat products destroy their monthly budget as most of these items are very expensive and not every body can afford them on a regular basis.  

 

Benefits of Paleo food are many but it all boils down to individual choices. It is good to have natural and organic food rather than the ones full of pesticides. Women have to be extra careful as the entire onus of a healthy family is on them. They have to be first fit themselves then only they can look after others. So all you women out there, brace your selves and look out for best possible options for yourself and your family.
