Signs that ZO Skin Health Products May Not Be Right For Your Skin

101 8
Any time a person tries a new skin care product line, they are running the risk that they will suffer a negative reaction. It may take some individuals a fairly long time to find a product line that will work well for their skin. They may have chosen a product that is not intended for their skin type or they may be dealing with a product that they are mildly allergic to.

If the negative reaction is one that is very subtle, it can sometimes be hard to tell that there is a problem. As a result, many individuals may have been using the wrong products on their skin for some time. They may have forgotten that their skin felt differently at one time or be attributing the changes to another cause.

The following are some subtle signs that you may be using the wrong products on your skin. You may need to change to a product from the ZO Skin Health line, the CosMedix Skin Care line or other product line in order to correct the damage that has been done and to get your skin into top condition. Obviously, if there is a major reaction such as swelling, a rash or other definite signs of allergies, the product should be switched out and it may be helpful to see a doctor about the problem. Here are some other signs that some people may not notice as easily.

If your skin feels tight and dry, it can be a sign that the products you use are removing too much oil from your skin. This can be a problem if you have dry skin. Most products from the CosMedix Skin Care line or the ZO Skin Health line are gentle and will not remove an excess amount of moisture. There are some individuals who have very sensitive skin and may end up with flaking or tightness as a result of switching products. In this case, it may not be necessary to switch product lines. Instead, you may want to see what other products are available for cleansing, toning or moisturizing.

If you have oily skin, you may see an increase in blemishes. These may be either whiteheads or blackheads. This can be a sign that a product is too harsh for your skin. This can cause skin to increase oil production and, if this happens, you can end up with an increased number of pimples. It can also be a sign that the skin is not being cleansed deeply enough. Regardless of the reason, the increased number of pimples will usually mean that you need to switch products.

You may also need to switch to a product that has fewer artificial ingredients. These can often cause irritation and other skin problems. Many product lines have natural ingredients and, while they may cost more, can end up being much more effective and gentle.

By looking for the signs that you are reacting to a product you can switch before the problems become severe or, in some cases, permanent marks or scars occur.
