- 1). Right-click the AVG icon on your desktop to display a menu of options. Click "Open AVG User Interface."
- 2). Click "Components" to display an options menu. Click "Resident Shield" to view this component.
- 3). Click "Resident Shield Active" to enable this component if it is not already activated.
- 4). Click "Save" to finish the process and activate the Resident Shield.
