Awards show

• Have a party during a Hollywood awards show. Create a ballot showing the categories and their corresponding nominees, applying points for each category -- more points for the more difficult or weighted categories. Watch the awards show as a group, filling out a master ballot as the awards are fulfilled. Have each participant fill out the ballot with their guess for the winners in each category. Once the show is complete, determine the winner based on who has the most correct guesses. Create a jackpot, having everyone put in the same amount of money for the game. The winner receives the jackpot.
  
  

Celebrity dating game

• Select 20 famous celebrity couples. Find pictures of these celebrity couples and create flashcards with a picture of each celebrity individually. Working in teams or individually, have the participants match up the celebrity couples. Try various versions of this game, using couples that have had famous break ups or have recently dated. This game can also be used like a memory game; rather than matching up identical images, participants should match up the celebrity couples.
  
  

Celebrities and their movies

• Find pictures of celebrities from certain movies and the corresponding DVD cover showing title of the movie. Paste the images of the celebrities and their films on separate flash cards. Similar to the celebrity dating game, have participants match the movie with the celebrity. Try variations of this game. For a more challenging game, choose a picture of the celebrity taken years after the film was created.
  
  

DVD covers

• Make flashcards with images of DVD covers. Black out the titles and starring characters on the DVD covers. Based on the design and artwork alone, have the participants guess which movie the DVD cover is for. To heighten the game, have the participants name the starring actors in the film. Create many of these and divide them by genre or time period. Create dice listing the genres and time periods. The participants will have to guess a movie on the genre and/or time periods they rolled.
