Washing By Hand

• 1). Rinse soiled dinnerware in hot soapy water. Note that some cups and mugs are made from stoneware and should not be allowed to soak in water for extended periods of time.
  
  
• 2). Wipe soiled areas clean with a soft dishcloth, making sure to clean around any rims and outer surfaces. For heavily soiled items or stuck-on foods, use a plastic or nylon scouring pad.
  
  
• 3). Rinse with clean, hot water.
  
  
• 4). Place washed items on drying rack or mat to dry. Avoid stacking plates, bowls and cups before completely dry, as water could become trapped between them and become sour or moldy.
  
  

Automatic Dishwasher

• 1). Rinse soiled dinnerware in hot soapy water. Note that some cups and mugs are made from stoneware and should not be allowed to soak in water for extended periods of time.
  
  
• 2). Load dinnerware into machine in such a manner to avoid bumping against other items during the wash and rinse cycles. Corelle dinnerware is not easily breakable; however, scratching and defacing of pattern could occur over time if care is not taken in an automatic dishwasher.
  
  
• 3). Wash on regular wash cycle with non-abrasive automatic dishwasher detergent.
