• The cylinder head bolts had a torque sequence from bolt 14-10-6-2-3-7-11-13-9-5-1-4-8-12. Each cylinder head bolt required 95 foot-pounds of torque, reached in three steps.

• The exhaust manifold end bolts had 20 foot-pounds of torque, while all other bolts on the exhaust manifold had 30 foot-pounds of torque. The intake manifold end bolts and nuts had 15-20 foot-pounds of torque, compared to 25-30 foot-pounds for the center bolts and nuts. The main bearing cap bolts had 60-70 foot-pounds of torque.
