How to Change a Baby's Gender in Sims 2
- 1). Enter the lot of the sim who will become pregnant. In the "live" mode of gameplay, press "Ctrl+Shift+C". When the text box appears, type "Boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled True" and click "Enter".
- 2). Right-click on any sim and choose "Spawn". Under "Spawn", click "Tombstone of Life and Death". Enter "Boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled False" to turn the cheat system off once you've spawned the tombstone.
- 3). Click the sim that you want to be the biological parent. You can choose a male or female since both sexes can become pregnant within "The Sims." The baby will be an exact clone of the parent, but will be born the opposite gender.
- 4). Click the Tombstone of Life or Death and select the "impregnate" option. A list of names will pop up. Choose the name of the selected sim that will be pregnant with the baby.
- 1). Save your gameplay on the lot of the pregnant sim, before they start to give birth. You can save it on any of the three days of pregnancy, as long as it's before they've actually gone into labor. You'll know they're in labor when the camera moves close-up on them and a cut-scene starts.
- 2). Exit to the neighborhood screen. Re-enter the lot of the pregnant sim and wait until the sim gives birth and see what gender the baby is.
- 3). Keep exiting and re-entering the lot, without saving, until the baby is born the gender you want. When you're happy with the result, save the game.
