The Brighton Pride Summer Festival is the biggest free Pride festival in Britain. A week long festival of events and parties, at venues all over Britain's gay capital, celebrates everything lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. The climax is a spectacular parade - a really don't miss event - and a party in Brighton's Preston Park.

The Parade Route

The parade, on the first Saturday in August, sets off at 11a.m. from Madeira Drive next to Brighton Pier. Crowds line a route along the Kingsway and including West Street, North Street, the Old Steine, Marborough Place, Gloucester Place, London Road and Preston Road. The parade usually arrives in Preston Park at about 1 p.m.
