How to Make Baby Shower Invitations With Ultrasound
- 1). Print out an ultrasound photo. If you don't have a digital file of the photo, then you will need to scan the photo and print it. Using a paper cutter, cut the photo down to just the borders of the ultrasound, meaning cut away any excess on the paper.
- 2). Take a blank greeting card and open it up. Place the ultrasound face down in the center of the left side of the card. Trace the outline of the ultrasound. Place the ultrasound photo to the side. Using a razor blade, cut along the traced edges. You will be left with a cut-out square or rectangle the size of the ultrasound.
- 3). Cover the back of the ultrasound photo with paper craft glue. Press it onto a piece of card stock. Leave 1/8 inch around the edges. Cut around the ultrasound photo, leaving 1/8-inch edge all the way around.
- 4). Place some paper craft glue on the 1/8-inch edge of card stock on the face-up side (photo side). Open the blank greeting card. Lay the cardstock and ultrasound photo face down over the cut-out square/rectangle. Carefully peek at the of the card to see if the photo is lined up correctly. Press down the edges of the card stock, securing it to the card. Let dry for one minute.
- 5). Decorate the front of the card as you desire. On the inside, write all the important information regarding the shower, such as names, address, time, date, phone number for RSVP and so on.
