- 1). Connect an Ethernet cable from your Ethernet jack to the Ethernet jack on the DSL modem, if it is a wired modem. The connection is automatically made with no further configurations necessary.
- 2). Right-click the network icon in the system tray, if you want to connect a wireless setup.
- 3). Click the link for your DSL modem.
- 4). Type in the password for the DSL modem; this will be specified either on the modem or in the documentation.
