- 1). Find a game that is currently in beta testing. There are websites, like those listed under References, that track these games and inform you about them. Locate that game and go to the website to find more information about the beta testing program.
- 2). Read the rules and application process for the beta test. If the game is in "closed beta," you will probably have to apply. There is a distinct chance that you won't get into a closed beta test of a game. If the game is in "open beta," you don't need to apply for a position, and will be able to download the game and play.
- 3). Sign up for an account with the game in question. If you have to apply for the closed beta test, do so as well. If you have applied, you will have to wait for a response and a link to the download site. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
- 4). Follow the link to the download site or game. Download the game and install it to your computer. There are some games which do not need to be downloaded and installed, and can be run from the browser.
- 5). Log into the game using your account credentials. Play the game as normal.
