- 1). Acquire a soul gem. You can find them as you loot sewers, caves and outlying areas of cities.
- 2). Purchase a soul trap spell from any of the Mage's guilds across Cyrodiil.
- 3). Find a victim to target. Before attacking your target, open your inventory and equip yourself with the soul trap spell.
- 4). Cast the spell on yourself, then kill your target before the spell wears off. His soul will automatically transfer to your soul gem. You now have a charged soul gem that can charge any of your magical weapons.
