Hemorrhoids Treatment at Home - Simple and Easy

103 13
Hemorrhoids have plagued mankind for eons.
We tried everything we could to find even the slightest amount of relief, and miraculously, some of these early cures and treatments actually proved to be quite effective! Yet we are still looking for effective hemorrhoids treatment at home.
Fast forward a few hundreds of thousands of years, and a few of these treatments are still in existence with a few newer ones added on for good measure.
The earlier ones were based on the use of herbs and plant materials.
Even early man figured out that things like moss, mustard seed, aloe plants and even leaves from palm trees could provide some relief from swelling, bleeding and even a certain amount of pain relief.
The Incas learned long ago that the coca leaf could relieve just about anything from severe hemorrhoids to a broken heart or a broken leg.
Hemorrhoid sufferers in the 20th century, however, had to look to other natural remedies for some pain relief when modern man realized these coca leaves came with more problems than they solved.
A few other species of leaves proved quite effective when boiled into a tea or broth.
In today's world, however, there's nothing more effective for fast short term relief than an oral pain killer and an ice pack.
The ice pack not only numbs the entire area, it helps to reduce the swelling that actually causes the pain.
Of course, ice can only be used for so long.
Once the area is numbed, you might want to switch to a home made poultice of mashed garlic, raw potatoes and mustard seed.
Add a little olive oil to make it liquid enough to be able to soak through some thick gauze, and place it on the inflamed area for as long as you can.
These ingredients have many naturally occurring healing properties that can help any type of injury, and are commonly used by hemorrhoid sufferers because of their soothing and effective medicinal value.
