  A mobile home dealer is required to obtain a license in order to operate legally. Licenses are issued by the state in which the dealership is located, and the requirements for licensing are established individually by each state. Location

• Most states have requirements for the location of a mobile home dealership, which must be met prior to the issuance of a mobile home dealer's license.
