Overview
The 450-guest Seabourn Quest is Seabourn Cruises' newest ship, having been launched in the summer of 2011. Her cabins and suites are identical to her two older sisters, the Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn.
I sailed for a week in the Mediterranean from Rome to Athens on the Seabourn Quest and wasn't surprised that I loved this small luxury ship as much as I did when I sailed a different Mediterranean itinerary on the Seabourn Odyssey three years ago.
Our cabin on the Seabourn Quest was #645, which is a standard veranda suite, category V5. Seabourn classifies this cabin as a suite because there is a set of drapes dividing the sleeping and sitting areas, but this spacious stateroom is basically all in one room. The 365-square-foot (34 square meters) veranda cabin on this luxury ship is much more spacious than what is found on mainstream cruise ships. All cabins and suites on the Seabourn Quest have a sitting area that is separated from the sleeping area by a set of thick drapes. The view of the teak veranda and the sea from the sitting area is always mesmerizing.
The Seabourn Quest cabins all have a small table/desk that is perfect for in-suite dining.

The table/desk has two comfortable chairs and is perfect for room service dining. Fresh flowers on the table are a nice touch, as are the glassware and bar supplies in the cabinet.

This cabinet has a set of glassware and holes cut into the shelf to keep wine or liquor bottles from sliding off.
