2009 Tortoiseshell Cats Picture Gallery: Peppurr
We adopted this cat from our neighbor across the street. She has three sisters who look just like her. We keep her in the house and she was very easy to house train since we got her before our older cat (Shayfur) passed away. This watering hole in our home was the meeting place for the cats, even though Shayfur has been gone for several years, Peppurr still watches to see if Shayfur comes around the corner.
Peppurr will not drink water from any kind of bowl or any other faucet in the house. Shayfur used to drink water from the same place but he would only drink at the drain of the tub. Since Peppurr wanted emulate the older cat, she adopter this stance. She has now grown so much that she has had to adopt this Kangaroo stance to drink from the faucet. Every cat seems to have their own unique trait that sets them apart, this is her own unique signature.
She is a very friendly cat who loves to lay in our laps. According to our neighbor, her sisters are the same way.
