- 1). Visit the U.S. Electoral College home page at the United States Archives website: archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/.
- 2). Click on "How Electors Vote" located on the right-hand side of the page.
- 3). Select "Learn More" under the bold heading "Certificates of Ascertainment."
- 4). Scroll down to locate a list of links to the Certificates of Ascertainment by year.
- 5). Click on the election year you would like to view.
- 6). Select a state from the list.
- 7). Read the scan of the certificate or click on "View the Certificate Details" for information from all 50 states plus the District of Columbia.
