Some other pointers include; women like clean shaven men, if the talk goes toward appearance, let it be about here and not you, make sure you ask lots of questions about her and try to not dominate the conversation with things about you and always make sure you are putting on your best front.
We all have drawbacks but there is no reason to let yours be known before a relationship starts getting formed.
