Anyone Can Cruise - It"s More Affordable Than You Think!

One of the most common things I hear from people when I tell them about the cruises I've taken is: I wish we could do that.
So, I tell them the good news - they can! "But it's so expensive!" they wail.
No.
No, it's not.
First of all, consider the value.
I can find a cruise for you for about $40/day, depending on where and when.
That is your cabin, travel, and food.
You can't do that in a car.
For example, a 6-day cruise on Carnival in November is $309.
00/person.
That's $51.
50/person/day! The destinations on this cruise are Key West, FL, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
So, for $51.
50 per day each, you have a hotel room, all the food you can eat, and travel to three different destinations.
In fact, we just got an email advertising a 7-day cruise to Alaska on Princess for about $750 each for a balcony stateroom in June! That is a great deal.
Granted, these prices do not include the extra shore excursions, but you can always get off the ship and walk around the town.
While they always have shops and places to eat in port, you don't have to spend any money there.
For the higher priced cruises, usually those during the summer, most cruise lines allow you to 'lay-away' your cruise.
Put down a small deposit and pay it out.
You have to have it paid off by a certain number of days before you cruise, but also allow you to cancel without penalty up to that date.
So, if you don't make it, you get your money back.
So, as you can see, it is not only possible, but very, very affordable.
Come back soon for my article on how to save even more on cruises.
