- 1). Turn off your Dell Dimension 8200. Remove the power cable out of the power supply to protect yourself from electric shock while working inside your Dell.
- 2). Remove any other cables from the back of the Dell Dimension. Put the computer on its left side.
- 3). Turn the back of the Dell Dimension 8200 toward you. Push the right release button on the side of the case. Pull up on the left side of the cover. Repeat this process in reverse with the left release button. Pull the cover until it swings out on the case hinge.
