What"s Wrong With Doubling Down When You"re Right - The Left Leaning Media Doesn"t Like It

Over the years as an entrepreneur I can tell you that I've been condemned by academics because I wouldn't yield to their so-called empirical evidence and perpetuated myths which they called facts.
They told me that it was typical of the psychology of an entrepreneur and business leader to come to a conclusion and then be unwilling to change their mind or use a pragmatic mindset.
Of course, while they told me this they were trying to convince me of their conclusions, and tell me how I was somehow wrong.
Okay so let's talk about this we might.
First of all, if I was wrong all the time I wouldn't be the guy in charge, I would've lost all my money and been out of business.
If they were right all the time they would be the richest people on the planet, and hardly stuck in academia.
For a college professor to assert himself as a higher order thinking being than the rest of us is absolutely nonsense considering they are living in a fantasy world, and we are out here living and doing in the real one.
Interestingly enough, left-leaning thinkers especially in the mainstream media have tried the same approach.
Whenever someone who is of the right-leaning political persuasion makes a statement, they challenge whatever they say.
If that person will not yield to their comments or calls them pure fantasy, they will merely say that the person is doubling down on their assertions, and will not hear the other side of the argument, insinuating that they are incorrect.
I find this interesting because those that claim others are doubling down on their conclusions will not yield or even listen to the right side of the equation.
If the left-leaning persuasive media types are correct, then they are practicing a scenario of calling the kettle black.
That is when they are correct, but more often the kettle is not black, it's white, and it's right, and that's just the way it is.
Apparently there's nothing wrong with doubling down when you're right, unless a left-leaning media broadcast journalist doesn't like it, then it's pure evil, and you must be a complete moron or completely insane to stick with your original conclusion, rather than yielding to theirs.
Of all the hypocrisy of the world I've ever heard, this one just blows me away.
What is worse is people actually buy into this perception, and that's the worst part about it.
It's okay to double down when you are right, it shows that you believe in self, and are solid in your foundation.
Good for you.
Please consider all this and think on.
