From spooky hayrides to scary decorations, throw a spooktacular Halloween party your guests will remember for years to come. Create exciting party games both children and adults can play. Games keep party guests involved in the party and prevent boredom. Award Halloween-themed candy and prizes to all game winners. - Take a large box or several small boxes and cut holes (large enough for an adult hand) in the box. Glue a large piece of cloth on the inside of the holes so players cannot see what items are in the box. Cut a slit in the cloth for the players to stick their hands in. Players have to stick their hands in the box and feel the item to guess what it is. Place items such as a plastic rat, vampire teeth, an apple, plastic bones or fake squishy eyeballs in the box. Players have 10 seconds to feel each item and guess what it is. The player who gets the most answers right wins the game.
If players don't mind getting dirty, use gross and messy items. Place the items inside bowls of cooked noodles with ketchup, bowls of pudding, or Jell-o. - Mummies are popular during Halloween so why not play a mummy game? Have players divide into teams of three or four. Select one teammate to be the designated "mummy." Each player on the team gets one roll of toilet paper, except the "mummy." When you say, "go," each team will begin wrapping their team "mummy" until all the toilet paper is gone. The first team to wrap their mummy completely and run out of toilet paper wins the game.
- You will need a few orange beanbags or orange socks filled with beans and tied off. Draw a "jack-o-lantern" face on each pumpkin bag. Get about six plastic pumpkins (the ones kids use for candy) from a retail store. Mark a starting line about 10 feet from the pumpkins. Scatter the pumpkins and write a point value on each pumpkin. Pumpkins closer to the starting line should be less in point value and pumpkins further away should have greater point value. Place small weights in the bottom of the pumpkins to keep them from tipping over while guests toss the beanbags in them. Play the game by mixing an equal amount of adults and children on each team. You can also let the adults compete against one another and then let the children compete. Let each person try to toss five beanbags into the pumpkins. The team or individual with the highest amount of points wins the game.
