Puerto Baquerizo Moreno on San Cristobal island is the provincial capital of Galápagos province of Ecuador.
Named for Ecuadorian president Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno (1859-1951), the capital isn't as tourist ready as Puerto Ayora. Nevertheless, the prime industries are artisan fishing, tourism, and arable farming.
