• Unlike "The Sims 2: Pets" on PC, which is an expansion, "The Sims 2: Pets" on the Nintendo Wii is a stand-alone game that lets players live a double-life in-game while completing certain objectives centered around you and the care of your animal. To help you along, the developers have included a few helpful cheats to get you well on your way to making the most of your (game) life.
  
  

Easy $10,000

• Just like real life, running low on cash can be crippling. Unlike real life, you can put $10,000 (called Simoleons in the game) in your pocket by inputting a simple code. At any point during your game, press and hold down the "B" button before pressing "Up," "Left," "Down" and "Right" on your Wiimote D-Pad in that order. Release the "B" button and a character known as the "Cheat Gnome" will appear in front of your house. Each time you select the gnome, you will earn $10,000.
  
  

Skip Six Hours

• If you want to skip through the night or hurry through work, you can skip six hours of game time by simply tapping "Right" on your Wiimote D-Pad six times. Once you do this, go outside and select your Cheat Gnome. The option to skip ahead six hours will now unlock and you can select it more than once.
  
  

Change Skills

• If you find that the skills you have selected at the beginning of the game are useless to you, you can switch them at any time. First press "Down," "Down," "Down," "Up," "Up," "Up" on your Wiimote D-Pad. If this is the first cheat you're attempting, the Cheat Gnome would appear in your front yard. If the gnome is already there, simply select it and choose the "Change Skill" option.
