    Magnetic Stimulation

    • Another possible treatment for migraine sufferers is a device that will stop a migraine in its tracks with a magnetic current. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation uses two paddles that are placed on the head, delivering a current when a person feels a migraine's aura coming on. This portable, 2.5-pound device is about the size of a hair dryer and could cost about $2,000, according to ABC News.

    • A New Jersey man says he has experienced relief from his constant migraines with surgery that cut the muscle tissue around his upper eyelid area. The surgery, done by a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, is called "nerve decompression" and relieved the tension that caused his headaches.
