Why Do You Need to Lose Weight?
Why do you want to lose weight? Do you want your appearance to be younger? Do you want to fit into your favorite clothes again? Are you looking to impress the ladies...
or the guys? Do you want to simply feel better about yourself or feel healthier? You may not answer yes to all these questions, but if you are like me you can answer yes to at least one of them.
A very important reason for losing weight should be because of all the health problems that are associated with weight gain.
Increased weight will increase your chances for causing heart diseases due to the extra pressure placed on the heart.
Extra weight usually attracts extra aches and pains throughout the joints, tendons and muscles of the body by of the extra strain placed upon them.
Many times, people create extensive back problems because of pressure on the lower back.
I have several close friends that are suffering from recurring knee pains from the surplus body weight that they are carrying around.
I too have made myself victim to aches and pains from excessive body fat, but I did notice that when I reduced that fat and lost the weight that those aches and pains went away.
There are some other things to consider when deciding if you should lose weight.
One is that body fat is the body's storage for external toxins, so the more overweight that you are, the more toxins you will accumulate in the body.
As you increase your weight you will also increase your chances of acquiring cancer and/or diabetes.
