- 1). Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet in the wall.
- 2). Unscrew and remove the two screws on the bottom of the front panel. Lift the front panel up and away from the washer to remove it.
- 3). Disconnect the spring connecting the tub to the washer frame on the left side.
- 4). Disconnect the electrical wiring plug connected to the motor assembly.
- 5). Remove the bolts connecting the motor assembly to the washer tub using the socket wrench or an adjustable wrench.
- 6). Slide the old belt off the pulley system. Position the new belt on the pulley system in the same position as the old belt.
- 7). Replace the bolts on the motor assembly. Re-connect the electrical wiring plug to the motor.
- 8). Hook the spring on the left side of the tub back to the frame.
- 9). Place the front panel back into its original position. Replace the two screws that hold it in place.
